I don’t know about you, but I’m wondering where the heck October went. As we move right along to November and cherish the limited remaining days of fall, I reflect back on a spring runway show that I feel called my name: Fendi’s fall 2015 ready-to-wear collection. It is the inspiration for this outfit.
Many looks in this collection, which was designed by the one and only Karl Lagerfeld, featured thick, soft textures that looked so cozy you could live in them. Another trend I spotted and loved in this show were the dramatic oversized pockets because they make a statement and they’re a handy feature on any outfit.
I incorporated the cozy theme and oversized pockets into my own personal every day look by wearing one of my most comfortable long knit cardigans from Abercrombie. I paired it with a lightweight muscle tank top, gray denim jeans and a pair of cognac booties from Forever 21. If I could wear this outfit every day, I would. I live for long cardigans and denim jeans.
I think that when we look back at our favorite runway shows of any season, it’s important to know and learn how to take what we are inspired by and make it our own. My style has slightly evolved over my college years, but one thing that always stays is my love for for the simple and comfortable.
As we head into the colder winter months, preparing for ugly Christmas sweaters and eating way too much sugar, I will definitely be sporting cozy soft vibes all season long.
Get My Look: 1. A thicker cardigan. 2. Brown leather ankle booties. 3. Match with a great pair of skinny jeans and you’re set.
