STYLE GURU STYLE: Cozy Girls

Putting an outfit together thatโ€™s both cute and comfortable isnโ€™t always easy. Iโ€™m a fan of being not only practical but also fashionable. Of course, everyoneโ€™s take on fashion is a little bit different. For me, Iโ€™ve gotten into wearing runners as my everyday shoe. This new โ€œathleisureโ€ trend has really hit the streets and isnโ€™t going anywhere anytime soon.

My look here is both cozy and comfortableโ€”perfect for the fall and winter seasons! Neutral colors such as cream, brown, and tans are a great look during those seasons. A turtle neck serves as a bold statement piece and provides warmth during those chillier days. Ray-Ban sunglasses make for a great accessory as well as provide protection for your pupils during the daytime. Iโ€™ve recently been into crossbody purses because of how convenient they are for everyday use. Wearing a lightweight purse is perfect for women that are constantly on the go or those that donโ€™t want to carry a lot!

And of course, the piรจce de rรฉsistanceโ€”the shoes. Nike and Adidas are both two brands perfect for the runner look. These Nikes give wearers both comfort and a minimalist appeal. Again, the khaki/oatmeal color of the shoe eases the transition from a winter look to spring.

When living in Southern California, the problem of trying to keep up with the constant weather changes can be grueling. My solution? Always be prepared for both. With this look youโ€™ll be comfortable, cozy, and the outfit wonโ€™t be too heavy if the sun starts shining. For colder weather, an oversize coat would help complement the look!
