Moschino’s fall 2015 ready-to-wear fashion show featured looney tunes sweaters and an abundance of bright colors. It was no surprise since Moschino is known for its crazy shocking runway shows which have previously featured Barbie inspired outfits and McDonalds adorned paraphernalia. This runway show was no exception and kept with Moschino’s outrageous and on-point sense of style. I decided to play with cartoon sweaters and stumbled upon this panda sweater in Urban Outfitters. After seeing Moschino’s show I just had to try it out.
I’ve always loved colors, so this panda sweater wasn’t an adventurous buy for me, but it was a first for me with cartoon print. It’s a cropped sweater so it goes perfectly with a high-waisted skirt. I decided to pair it with a burgundy chunky infinity scarf to add more color and texture to my look.
My black skater skirt, black tights and black combat boots add a neutral look to my outfit and allow my bright sweater and scarf to pop. I also pulled my look together with my black BCBGeneration long jacket. I especially love this jacket because of its faux leather quilted accents on the shoulders. This completed my look and gave my outfit a look of sophistication without being too dressy.
Thanks to Moschino’s fashion show I have been inspired to wear more cartoon print sweaters! I like the look of this one so much I will definitely be purchasing more in the future!
