The spring 2015 ready-to-wear collection by kate spade new york was extremely beautiful. I thought that many of these looks were already so achievable, and you could easily wear them straight off of the runway. Since many of the outfits were already wearable for everyday life, I wanted to add my own style on the outfits by taking inspiration from a few of the different looks and piecing them into my taste. Many of the outfits that I chose from consisted of a cropped top, had some pattern and were black and white. Every single piece in this collection screamed perfection, so I couldn’t wait to translate it into my style.
When looking through the runway outfits, I noticed many shirts had a collar on them, and as we all know now, I absolutely love collars on my shirts! I immediately chose to go with a cropped and collared black and white top. It incorporated so many elements from the show in just one piece. Instead of going with something that was more polished, I decided to wear high-waisted white shorts that had some studs on the side. It gave the look an edgier feel, but still kept the girly vibe. I kept it simple with some black sandals and then stacked a few bracelets. Of course I had to add in my classic hair bow, bow ring and pearl earrings to give my entire outfit a Delaney feel.
All in all, the kate spade new york spring 2015 ready-to-wear runway looks were everything that a girl would want her closet to look like. Every piece had its own unique touch of girly, classy and flirty-ness. It was so simple to achieve the looks; don’t be afraid to put your own twist on them!
