Greetings, from NYC! With the cold weather coming, it’s time to cover up, but still look cute and fashion forward. So, what can you wear? This outfit is perfect for a school day, walking in the park, shopping and enjoying the festivities this holiday season. It’s casual and comfortable, yet still brings out your inner Fashionista. Today, I am wearing one of my mom’s denim jackets from the ’80s! She actually found it in the attic, after I was searching for the perfect one for the longest time. It’s oversized and looks great with any outfit. Fashionistas, totally ask your parents for stuff from way back when! They do say that fashion repeats itself about every 20 years or so. You never know what you’re going to find.
I wore this jacket with a pair of black zippered jeans and a western looking belt for an added accessory. Although I’m in New York City, I wanted to bring in that country vibe by adding a cute bolo-choker. Next, I added these cute little leather booties. With all the walking I do in NYC, I can honestly tell you these shoes are AMAZING. They are so comfortable and look great with just about any outfit. To finish off this look, I decided to rock this leather/denim mini-backpack. This was one of my recent Black Friday finds, and I am in love with it. There are days where I just hate carrying around a purse, especially when I am on the go. This bag is perfect to throw all your essentials in; such as your wallet, phone, camera and let’s not forget your makeup.
