STYLE GURU STYLE: Denim Heaven

As icon and model Iman once said, “In a world full of trends, I want to remain a classic.” There are a few fashion pieces that are as trendy yet classic as denim.

Vanessa Seward definitely knew what she was doing with her fall 2016 ready-to-wear collection which featured plenty of jean-centered looks. My favorite look featured head-to-toe denim which is both a risky and safe; a deadly fashion combination. This concept is the perfect way to make a statement without straying too far from ones comfort zone. Seward finished off this casual look with a gold scarf and bright boots which contrasted the jean-on-jean look and added more detail.

In order to mimic her look in a way that is still fit for campus travels, I wore a jean jumpsuit. With the weather getting warmer with each day, this was an easy way to break out the all denim look while still remaining casual enough for campus. I chose to dress up the denim look by pairing it with simple white flats and a detailed silver rose pattern necklace making it suitable for both class and my office job. I kept my makeup minimal and my hair natural and was quickly ready for the day while still looking put together! You could also wear your hair up in a messy bun to take more inspiration from the model and to make this outfit even more wearable for warm weather with an added casual feel.

Get My Look: 1. Denim jumpsuit. 2. Statement necklace. 3. Simple flats.
