It can be challenging in during the winter season finding a jacket or coat that doesn’t make you look too bulky. Though I do love to layer, I don’t wanna feel like a marshmallow under my jackets. My favorite item this season is fleece lined jackets, it’s basically two layers in one! This denim fleece lined jacket has been my go to this winter and gives all my outfits that extra something.
I love the look of casual chic. To me it gives off an effortless vibe, when in fact I did pre-plan my outfit the night before. For this outfit I wore my favorite Adidas sneakers. They are awesome for traveling and walking around campus. I kept my bottom half pretty simple with my favorite leggings. My two favorite items are worn on top. The shirt is special to me because I got it when I was away over break. I love the “glazed and confused” donut patch detail. It adds a little bit of my personality to a simple grey top. Last but not least is the star of the article, and that is my denim jacket. The fleece lining has been my savior during the colder months. Both my lightweight and bulkier sweaters fit comfortably underneath.
A way to take this look from day to night is by switching out the denim for a leather jacket. The leather jacket would give the look more of a biker aesthetic. The best, and most important aspect about fashion is that it is always changing. With that so is our style. I value having fun pieces like my jackets that can change the whole vibe of an outfit.
