Hi there fashion lovers! I hope everyone’s fall semester is off to a great start. With so much going on, it can be hard to focus on what to wear. This is why I decided to wear a simple outfit with a fashionable statement accessory that will take only minutes to put together.
We all know about the infamous choker trend, but a trend that I have seen popping up lately is the double buckle belt. Models such as Kendall Jenner have been spotted wearing this unique belt on the streets on New York City. Normally I wear simple belts when I wear jeans, but I decided to go out of my comfort zone and try this new trend.
With this double buckle belt, I decided to wear black jeans that I ripped myself (thanks, YouTube tutorials), a gray quarter-sleeve blouse and black booties. The color scheme of gray and black makes this outfit perfect for the upcoming fall season. The double buckle belt is an attention-grabbing gold, so accessories had to be minimal. This is why I only wore my black beaded choker and stacked a few Alex and Ani bracelets.
What I love about this outfit is that it is something that I could easily wear to lunch with a friend, or swap the booties for black wedges and wear it for a date night. When it comes to my personal style, versatility is something that I look for when picking an outfit. A normal day for me is always busy, so I never have time to go home and change outfits. With this outfit, I can throw it on in the morning and it will still go great with whatever I am doing that night.
I might not be Kendall Jenner, but thanks to this belt, I feel like Kendall would be proud. I encourage all of you to go out of your comfort zones this semester and wear something that you have been dying to try but have been to scared that you aren’t cool or trendy enough. I hope you have a #RAD semester!
