Nothing is more classic than a white T-shirt or a shade of red lipstick. Well, there is one thing: a good denim jacket. The simple and solid texture was used in multiple runways for the spring 2016 season. It was also recreated in several forms from dresses to skirts. My personal favorite collection that emphasized this trend was the Opening Ceremony spring 2016 ready-to-wear collection. It included the classic jacket with a personal flair of big golden buttons.
My Levi Brand denim jacket may not have big buttons or pins, but my jacket (or any denim jacket for that matter) doesn’t need it. The jacket is its own. Bodysuits are a casual and effortless trend that has skyrocketed ever since the Kardashian and Jenner clan incorporated them into their everyday wardrobe. The bodysuit trend can be seen everywhere from Balmain to Dsquared² spring 2016 collections. This simple body-hugging choice has definitely been on my radar since last season. I wore a nude ribbed sleeveless bodysuit with my usual black on black wardrobe. My black jeans are also Levi Brand Jeans.
The festival style boots are another one of my favorites. The suede like material really caught my attention, but the shape of the boot itself turned me from wanting them to needing them! Lastly, I pair it all with another festival style look: the bucket bag. It’s small and cute, so hey, why not? My looks so far have not been flashy or daring, but they work for me on any given day. The main trend for me is my jacket, and that is a simple no-brainer. Why choose anything but a classic?
