This month I wanted to talk about my favorite season, fall. Fun fact, I was actually born on the first day of fall, which served this post to be a style guru style post! I love fall and everything that is involved with it. I tell people I “fall” in love with layering and here are pictures to prove that!
In these images, I am wearing a very toned downed outfit that matches the vibe of the weather currently. My leggings are from Victoria’s Secret and to layer over that, I have on a long shirt. It is a mock neck grey and white striped shirt from Urban Outfitters, and I must say it is so soft. I could just snuggle up with it and take a nap! What is better than staying comfy and looking stylish? To cover over that, I decided to go with this deep blue quilted bomber, also from Urban Outfitters, to stay warm in this windy city. On top of all of that, I tied a big blanket scarf around my neck, which is from H&M. The colors in this blanket scarf compliment the blue from my bomber jacket, but also brings out a pop of color from the red. This is also very comfy, and I think these scarves have become a staple for people to have! The shoes I added are Toms, and they are a felt-like suede with a brown heel. I love the mesh of gold and silver in these shoes because I can pair them with any outfit!
Being in a city where I can experience four seasons has opened so many styling opportunities for me, and I love how outfits and trendy pieces can change season to season through different parts of America. Fall is my ultimate favorite, and I am hopeful that fall will last a little longer for us this year!
