The most exciting thing about following the fall runway trends is there’re a lot of darker colors and lightweight coats that can be really fun to play with. One of my favorite clothing articles this season has been my Tobi trench coat. The “no show” buttons and its ankle length really give any outfit sophistication. The nude color also goes along with just about anything, and the fabric is not too light but heavy enough to get you through the transitioning weather.
My outfit was skewed to accommodate casual occasions and is more fitting for brisker weather; however, I was very inspired by Vetements’ fall line. I prefer darker colors which is what most of the pieces exhibit throughout the collection. The collection also has variations of trench coats present.
My take on this fall 2015 ready-to-wear runway look is incorporating the trench coat and the dark colors. I wore super skinny black pants and paired them with faux leather knee-high boots. I then paired the pants with a loose fitting black top and the tan colored trench coat. To add a little more depth to the outfit, I decided to complete the look with a chunky polka dot infinity scarf. Finally to tie all the colors together, I went with a medium sized bag that united the tan and black colors. The great thing about this outfit is you can create different variations of it to still mirror the Vetements’ collection. All you need are a couple of items, which are listed down below. Everything else is completely up to you!
Get My Look: 1. Trench coat. 2. A black shirt. 3. Your favorite knee-high boots.
