The fall trends this year are absolutely stunning with ’70s warm colors, suede, fringe, flares and button-up skirts. If there is one designer that never disappoints when it comes to fall festive collections, then she has to be Tory Burch. Her fall 2015 ready-to-wear collection incorporated one of my favorite fall wardrobe pieces, the suede dress. This little number has been a staple for me to dress up or dress down for any occasion.
The boho-chic denim suede dress I am wearing is made of soft, faux suede fabric that drapes beautifully. The drop hem of the bottom keeps the silhouette flowy while the fitted seam and V-neck keep the top flattering. The best thing about fall is to layer with outerwear. I am sporting my favorite crisp white blazer over the dress to build a color contrast. The structured shoulders of the blazer levitate the look with daytime elegance. I am adding a pop of color in my orange heels that spice up the look and work really well against the white and chambray. For jewelry, I am wearing my everyday rose gold watch and two dainty rings.
When the weather cools down, I know I can still pair the suede dress with over the knee boots and a long coat. The versatile boho dress is a trendy must-have for fall. I am convinced that suede will be sticking around for a while, whether in jackets, skirts or even pants. The soft fabric offers that ’70s bohemian romance with a variety to style.
