Happy fall everyone! As much as I hate cold weather, I do love fall fashion. (Pray for me as Chicago winter approaches; I’m shivering already.) Anyway, this has been one of my favorite outfits this fall. It really captures my style, and it has so many classic and versatile pieces, which I like to pair with other outfits, as well. Another thing I love about this look is all of the returning ’90s trends. Between the bomber jacket, Doc Martens, half bun and dark lips, this look has such a ’90s vibe to it that I can’t get enough of!
The bomber jacket has been a staple in my closet this fall. It’s from Urban Outfitters, and it’s even my favorite color—burgundy. I paired it with a plain black T-shirt and a color coordinating scarf from Nordstrom. The slightly distressed Articles of Society jeans are also from Nordstrom. I am picky about jeans, but these ones have the perfect comfort and stretch. I rolled the ankles up to show off my favorite forest green, metallic Doc Martens.
As I said in my Style Guru Bio, winged eyeliner, bold lipstick and the color burgundy are my signatures. So, of course, I had to include all of them! I use the Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner to get my cat eye look, which I wear pretty much every day. I love any kind of dark lipstick, but burgundy is my absolute favorite. Honestly, I wear dark lipstick regardless of the season. But when fall comes around, I don’t have to deal with the “Wow, your lipstick is so dark” comments! The lipstick I’m wearing is a Colourpop Lippie Stix in the shade Chateau.
