It is no secret that camel is a favorite to many when it comes to fall colors. The Jean Paul Gaultier team took advantage of this trend and used this color throughout their fall 2016 couture collection. There is a very postmodern eclectic feel to this collection that shows mostly with the mixture of fabrics and patterns in almost every look. The colors are not the only thing that makes this collection scream fall. Many of the looks had jackets or coats in corresponding if not matching materials. Tights were paired with shorts and skirts and the remaining looks were completed with pants.
My look this week consisted of all my favorite things. Ripped jeans, graphic T-shirts, motorcycle jackets and booties. I tend to take a lot of color inspirations from runway shows. I love bringing in the fall with that perfect camel color. Whether it is in my eyeshadow or the color of my clothes, I can’t get enough of it.
My jacket was the starting point for my entire outfit. I am obsessed with this faux suede motorcycle jacket that I got from T.J.Maxx and if I could wear it everyday I would. Since I knew I wanted to wear that jacket, I then moved on to shoes. I have an odd way of putting together my outfits. I chose my amazing Chinese Laundry booties that I got last fall. They are super comfortable and they go with so many different looks. From there I wanted to wear, in my opinion, the best graphic T-shirt ever made. Stevie Nicks is one of the most talented singers in my opinion and when I saw this shirt I had to buy it! Fun fact: I bought the enamel pin that says the same thing. Then I chucked on a pair of ripped, light wash blue jeans to complete the outfit. After that I decided that my outfit needed a purse. So I grabbed my Michael Kors quilted shoulder bag to finish it off.
