The newest trend to hit 2015 runways are wide legged pants. If you haven’t picked up a pair from your favorite boutique, you should! Everyone will have more than a few pairs come 2016. Tracy Reese recently came out with a resort-inspired collection that mainly features wide legged pants and jumpsuits. Her collection is playful and young pairing fun patterns and ruffled crop tops.
I took Reese’s fun runway collection and put my own twist on it. I wore a jaw dropping palazzo pant that was high-waisted with an abstract navy blue and maroon print. Wide legged pants are easy to throw on, are comfy and look great! Since the pants had such a stunning pattern I kept the shirt simple. A basic white spaghetti strap tank top did just fine. To add some style I threw on a Gap denim vest. It was easy to grab and gave my outfit some structure. Similar to the models in Tracy Reese’s fashion show I added a fedora beach hat.
Accessorizing this outfit was easy! Pearls are classy and always the way to go. I layered pearls around my neck pairing them with a vintage bird necklace and a sterling silver heart necklace. My bracelet was beautiful and vintage straight from my mother’s jewelry box. I wore an Aztec printed turquoise ring adding a hippie vibe. I kept the shoes simple wearing silver sandals. The great thing about wide legged pants is their versatility with shoes. I could’ve have easily threw on cork wedges to dress it up a bit.
