The best thing about fashion is that it is always changing. There is always something new to be styled or worn. My favorite thing to do is try out new trends and try to rock it into my own style. The past couple of years, style trends have been getting more edgy with ripped knee jeans, chokers, and now the latest trend of fishnet leggings.
One of the most common ways for trends to be started and seen is by celebrities sporting them. Lately, many celebrities have been spotted wearing the new fishnet trend. It’s most commonly seen being worn under ripped jeans. It’s amazing because it can be dressed up, or it can be dressed down. If you want to dress up the look more, I would wear them underneath high-waisted black jeans with a sassy top and booties. If you want to dress down the look, I would wear them underneath light wash ripped jeans with a more casual crop top or graphic T-shirt and a pair of Converse or Adidas.
Today I decided to style my fishnet leggings with light wash ripped jeans, a plain black crop top, a dark flannel, a black leather hat, and white high-top Converse. I went for more of a street look that is still completely comfortable. Make-up wise, I wore minimal make-up because you don’t want to take away from the look. I love this look because of how it looks effortlessly edgy. I can see a Fashionista walking down the streets of New York casually rocking this look.
