I’m loving the fishnets under denim trend. I have seen so many bloggers and stylists try this look and I was dying to try it out myself! I decided to put my own spin on how I would wear them and absolutely love the way it turned out!
For starters I wanted to keep the look fairly edgy but also wearable enough for a day-to-night look. I love leather jackets in the winter and I think they are so versatile. It is easy to throw on over a T-shirt like the one I have in these photos. They instantly add a rock n’ roll look to any outfit in my opinion but the white shirt still keeps it simple enough that it doesn’t seem too overdone for wearing it during the day.
Now my favorite part of this whole look is obviously the denim with the fishnets. I chose to go for a larger patterned tight but you can also go for the classic small scales. I think with the amount of holes I had in the jeans, the bigger fishnets looked better. I also think the tights show through the jeans better when you have larger holes in the denim but if you want it less obvious I would choose a smaller distressing on the denim.
And of course I chose my Superstars to finish of the look because they are my go-to shoes for essentially all of my outfits. They really tie together the black and white look but also keep it wearable and comfortable for the day time. Lastly, I kept my jewelry simple by just layering simple gold chain chokers and viola! This is one of my favorite looks I’ve been keeping my eye on this winter and can’t wait to figure out more ways to style it in the future!
