The Michael Kors spring 2015 ready-to-wear collection was absolutely beautiful. The collection was filled with vibrant florals in colors like yellow, blue and pink. Every single piece in the collection is flowy and has an ethereal feel to it. If I could, I would buy the whole collection.
I love feminine fashion, so Michael Kors definitely wowed me with the floral, girly structures of his outfits. He even featured some cutouts in his dresses. I was particularly inspired by the pink cutout dress and how flawless it looked. I tried to emulate this look in my own style by wearing a bright, floral open-back dress and wedges that are perfect for spring time. Michael Kors always makes his designs look so effortless. His pieces are always crisp yet carry an aura of beauty with them. That is something that I love about him as a designer.
This was the first time I tried an open back dress. Sometimes I tend to dress more modestly, so I was afraid that the dress might show too much skin, but I was pleasantly pleased that it showed just the right amount of skin without being too distracting. It was also fun for me to pair it with sky high wedges that I usually don’t go for. Fashion is all about having fun and trying new things and it is truly a fabulous feeling to be creative with fashion. Go for something you normally wouldn’t wear, because it could surprise you and lead you to a look you’ll love.
