Brrrr! As the temperatures are falling and the heavy jackets are getting dusted off to bundle ourselves up, just think positive thoughts because the spring 2015 trend reports are rolling in! Spring is hopefully right around the corner, or at least a girl can dream, but baby the ’70s are making a come back! The runways are filled with flared pants, platform shoes, floral prints, bold patterns, rock ‘n roll influenced denim and an overall bohemian free feel. So many beautiful collections were created by designers making this spring trend report full of bold choices and playful colors. But one collection literally made my mouth drop and that was Valentino’s spring 2015 ready-to-wear line!
The line was called “A manifesto for modern Life” but to me this collection was simply lavish and dream like. With whimsical flowing pastel evening gowns, beautifully bold patterns and floral lace shift dresses this collection was probably one of the best I have seen in a long while. It made me want to be in Milan gazing at this collection in person it was so astounding!
Flipping through the photos of numerous designers’ collections it was fun to see that it seemed a lot of designers were being very playful in their designs having fun and breaking some rules, definitely giving me the sense of hippie love or a relaxed chic! So for my outfit I wanted to be playful and fun while showing a sense of style! One of my favorite things in my closet right now are the floral leggings! Super cute and so comfortable. Since it isn’t spring yet and its chilly I paired them with my long fur vest and the best accessory in the world — my knit pom pom beanie! Styled with my crew cock socks, booties and bold statement necklace I felt warm, chic, silly and ready for a latte date!
Fashion is a huge part of my life but it may not be yours that doesn’t mean you can’t still be stylish! Keep tabs on the trend reports and spice your closet with a few great pieces and your set for a great winter season!
