Taking hints from Gucci’s spring/summer 2016 ready-to-wear collection, I have on a navy blue romper and a palm tree patterned bomber jacket. The collection is the perfect combination of geek and chic—the brand seamlessly blended together cool girl midi skirts with thick-rimmed glasses. Taking notes from the collection, I decided to wear my glasses instead of opting for my usual choice of contacts. Glasses are great to throw on to add a new, chic element to your look.

Gucci’s ready-to-wear collection mixes different bright colors together throughout the collection. I wore a bright pink pendent necklace to accent my outfit. My shoes are lace-up flats, which is one of the season’s biggest trends. The brown from my shoes makes the brown from my jacket stand out more and bring the look together. This look is great to wear from daytime to summer nights because you can wear the romper by itself during the day and throw the jacket on at nighttime.
