Let’s face it, when the weather gets cold, not only does it mean we must cover up, but we have to mask our cute and stylish outfits. *Cues sad music. * But I have a solution, on the cold days where you don’t even want to get out of the bed. Puffer jackets are our new fashionable friend. It’s comfortable and cozy and it resembles a sleeping bag. So, I guess we could actually Netflix and chill in our puffer jackets!
Seriously, get a puff of this. Puffer jackets were recently listed as a fall 2016 trend, but I’m pretty sure this trend will carry over into the winter. You can see puffer jackets on many of the fall 2016 fashion runways. I get inspired by celebrities that I love who take on this look. It makes me want to create my own twist on the look. One person who I admire is Rihanna; the way she dresses, I feel like we are the perfect match. With switching between the tomboy street style and being feminine and chic, or just putting both styles together. Puffer jackets on Rihanna give the trend a cool and comfy touch with a lot of edge.
My outfit has the feminine and tomboy style put together. I used the color pink and the different shades of it to give it a feminine touch. My puffer jacket is big and cozy; I wanted to keep the look as chill as possible but give it some edge and make it fun. I added sparkly glitter leggings to my outfit. What girl doesn’t like a little sparkle in her life? To accessories this look, I used a baseball cap; I wasn’t having a bad hair day that day. But baseball caps do come in handy. Then I am back at it again with the white Vans; shout-out to Daniel. You can use any white sneaker with this outfit.
