When it comes to the runway, I am always most excited to see what Chloé comes up with each season. Chloé’s ready-to-wear spring/summer 2015 collection has been my inspiration for the outfits I have been putting together this season. I love the feminine and bohemian look their clothing and shoes have. If I could pick one designer label that best portrays my fashion sense, I would choose Chloé. If I could afford their clothing I would own it all! But instead of purchasing the designer’s original pieces, I spend countless hours online shopping for comparable ones that portray the same look and have an affordable price.
For Love and Lemons is a brand that I have found to have similar pieces to those in the Chloé spring/summer 2015 collection. In my look pictured above, I am wearing a For Love and Lemons dress that is loosely fitted and detailed with lace. I paired this sangria-colored dress with knee-high gladiator sandals that look similar to those worn by Chloé models on the runway. Style.com actually included Chloé’s signature gladiator sandals in their article, “The Best Shoes of Summer.” Free People sells several different pairs of knee-high gladiator sandals that are similar to Chloé’s but more than half the price. They may not have the same high-end quality, but they will still help you achieve the runway look.
Even though I look to Chloé for inspiration, I still always like to put my on twist on my outfits. I could not help but put on one of my handmade (by me) choker necklaces with this outfit because it looks perfect with the neckline of the dress. I also added twine-tied braids in my hair to really complete the bohemian look.
So, if you want to get the feminine and free-spirited Chloé look for a more affordable price, pair together your own lacey dress with a pair of knee-high gladiator sandals. For the full on bohemian effect, let your hair down free and put on minimal makeup. You’ll be runway ready in no time!
