Fashion weeks have been taking over this past month and there are no complaints from me! Fashion week never disappoints. The shows have been far from simple, from Kanye West taking over Madison Square Garden for Yeezy season three to Remo Ruffini having the Moncler show outside of Lincoln Center on the coldest day of New York Fashion Week.
One show that was far from disappointment was Anteprima’s spring 2016 ready-to-wear collection. The collection featured many sheer items, but what I noticed most was how Anteprima is bringing back fishnets in a new way. One of the looks included the fishnet pattern underneath a top to an entire skirt.
Ever since I looked at the collection, I have become obsessed with the fishnet look. This look is a difficult one to achieve, because fishnets are infamous from bad Halloween costumes, but when it’s done right, they can become a cool detailed and eye-catching look. For my outfit, I decided to wear a regular pair of fishnets underneath my ripped boyfriend jeans, so you would only see a hint of the pattern. While on campus, I felt like you couldn’t see enough of the fishnet and I totally made a statement.
In addition, I went crazy and ripped the previously ripped holes even bigger. Now, there was no hiding the fishnets and I became even more in love with them. To finish off my look, I paired an army green tank top featuring two slits on each side with an oversized cream faux fur coat which is a must-have in any closet. Don’t be scared to also rock the fishnet look! It is a simple and fun outfit to put together.
Get My Look: 1. Fishnet leggings. 2. A pair of boyfriend jeans. 3. A faux fur coat.
