The DKNY resort 2017 collection is a fascinating display of monochromatic ensembles featuring layered slip dresses, black and white menswear turned chic and wide pant legs galore! This collection’s seemingly colorless color scheme and simplicity drew me to my own twist. Summer is color, color, color, but never underestimate the power of a bold black and white look. It’s a refreshing contrast and neutrals will never go out of style! Black is always the new black and this season is no different.

A statement necklace breaks up the black and adds some pizazz as well as a boho vibe. Keeping with the black and white trend, I added a white bandana tied around the neck in a Coachella-like fashion. I love the ’90s grunge effect of this quick and edgy addition!
