This season, jumpsuits have been taking over the runways. The Alena Akhmadullina Russia fall 2015 runway show demonstrates a variety of different jumpsuits. Akhmadullina styles her jumpsuits in a minimalistic manner, which is what initially caught my attention. I wanted to recreate her effortless looks, as jumpsuits seem to be the perfect thing to quickly throw on on a hot summer day.
Jumpsuits have enchanted the runways with their sophistication and ease. This trend can merge with other popular runway trends, such as denim, to reach full potential when establishing and practicing current trends for the summer. Jumpsuits offer nearly an entire look, which makes it exciting to see what designers will come up with in order to keep consumers interested. For this season, designers have perfectly curated some ever so appealing jumpsuit pieces, and lucky for us, this trend can be effortlessly added into our own wardrobe.
I, myself, am a huge jumpsuit fan. The majority of jumpsuits I have seen on the runway tend to demonstrate a more refined look than I tend to go for. But have no fear, if you are like me and like to keep things relatively casual, jumpsuits can still be an easy and relaxed trend.
First off, you must decide on a jumpsuit. Several jumpsuits offer a loose fit with a cropped pant that allows you to maintain an effortless feel to your entire look. By pairing your jumpsuit with some comfortable sneakers, your runway-inspired outfit is quickly turned into an outfit fit for running errands or walking the strip with friends. If that is in fact your plan, as it was for me, you will need a great pair of sunnies. Other than that, keep the accessories minimal to keep the focus on your fashion forward jumpsuit!
