Not to sound too vain or anything, but I figured it was time to share a little bit of my style with you guys. This outfit features the amazing palm leaf print trend along with the off-the-shoulder trend. I’m obsessed with both trends and cannot wait to rock them this summer. The real question is, at what number does it become unacceptable to continue buying off-the-shoulder tops?
Summer is finally here, and the days are getting warmer and warmer. This outfit is perfect for the simmering summer afternoons because you don’t have to worry about a tank top tan line and you can let your shoulders breathe.
Every time I go shopping, I’m drawn to all the off-the-shoulder tops and palm leaf prints, but I have to refrain from buying all of them. This palm leaf print off-the-shoulder top was too cute to pass up, and the best part was that it was a great price! Spending a little bit of money on current trends is never a problem to me because if it goes out of style or I no longer want to wear it, I don’t feel like I wasted my money. I paired the top with a pair of black distressed shorts from Forever 21. Forever 21 and H&M are great inexpensive options if you’re looking for some new denim shorts for the summer.
For my shoes, I choose to wear a pair of my classic black sandals with a slight wedge heel that I have loved and cherished for years. They have certainly been used to the fullest extent possible. Then, as far as accessories goes, I’m wearing sunglasses and my new favorite pair of earrings. I’m obsessed with these red tassel earrings, also from Forever 21, because they add the perfect pop of color.
That’s the thing I love about style—so many pieces can come together to create one masterpiece, one outfit. I get to choose from the items I have to express myself and how I’m feeling every day.
