Will leather ever go out of fashion? The answer is merely no. Leather has been a fashion statement since the begining of the ’80s and continues to be worn to this day. My closest currently cointains a leather jacket, leather shorts, leather pants and, of course, a leather skirt. Leather can be multicolors, which allows it to be paired with almost anything. The dark colors are especially great for fall, though.
Fall is the time to wear darker reds and greens. Dark leather can be paired with any of these colors because of the versitility of the material. This saying, I own many leather items, some of different colors, but the prime time to wear the dark ones is fall.
The look I am going for is a simple going-to-class outfit. I paired my leather shorts with a simple white blouse. I then added many accessories to complete the look. My theme is if you are going to wear a long statement necklace, add a choker. I do this because a choker adds some spice to the neck area, which is otherwise left with nothing. Not only do I wear two necklaces, I also always have on my Michael Kors earrings to add some sparkle. On my wrists, I love to load on the bracelets and always add a few rings to my fingers. I believe there is no such thing as too much jewerly. Especially with a simple outfit, jewerly is the main way to add a unique touch.
Pumpkin spice lattes and carmel apples are things people connect with fall. In my case, I believe dark leather is another staple of this season. Fall is allowing the ’80s trend to never go out of style; instead, dark leather will continue to be a fall fashion representation.
