Happy November fashion lovers! Depending on which region of the world you live in, for some of us, November is the month those fall breezes truly begin to blow. The stress of getting ready in the morning has decreased due to it being the acceptable season to throw on a pair of sweats and a hoodie then be on the way to class. Tis’ the season, to also slide on a beanie and boots then call it a day. Although, beautifully bumming it weekdays around campus sounds comfortable, there is still this thing called the weekend. Do not let these cool breezes get you caught up in a fashion drought. Dress up a casual look with heels and live for those autumn date nights or a girl night out.
If the bodycon ever dies I might have to retire from the fashion game. The bodycon dress has been my go to item in my college years when it comes to the weekend. Thankfully, there are many variations of the bodycon and for November nights I chose the mock neck. This mock neck dress resembles a turtle neck dress, however, there is an opening for cleavage on the chest. Another element I love about this bodycon is that it is long sleeve. Long sleeve dresses tend to hint to the buyer that they are intended for the fall season. Lastly, the olive green earth tone color looks soothing on every skin tone and compliments fall leaves. By pairing my olive green dress with my oversized jean shirt. I am in love with how the two hues bounce off one another.
Aesthetically speaking, an outfit is not complete without the right accessories. My black Steve Madden strappy suede heels and go to phone case are a match made in heaven. Black strappy heels will have you looking fly no matter what city or special occasion. I have also paired these shoes with jeans, shorts, sundresses and church dresses. I never met a woman who owned a pair of Steve Maddens to not be a goal digger. Hence, why they go perfect with my “hustler” phone case and as Beyonce says, “A diva is a female version of a hustla,” which makes this term perfect for us ladies. At times I get lazy, especially when the cold weather tells my body to cozy up and stay inside. Thus, it works for me to have motivation at my finger tips.
Overall, always show up and show out. Yes, it is good to be comfortable knowing you do not need to dress up everyday, but realize the action of dressing up does not take much. I hope this article inspires you to slay in f(all)ormation
