First and foremost, I hate packing. I always have disliked the idea of selecting a few lucky outfits to take on vacation while leaving the rest behind. I would attempt to stuff the entire contents of my closet into a suitcase that ended up being well over 50 pounds. I had a serious problem and ultimately had to make a choice. What to pack? What were the essential items that would leave me with room to spare in my suitcase? One item that I knew I couldn’t leave behind was my little black romper. After purchasing it this past spring I have found how versatile it is for practically any occasion.
This particular look was inspired by Saloni’s pre-fall 2015 show, which featured several rompers and jumpsuits. While looking through the looks I was immediately drawn to number 18. I found it to be very chic and structured while still being simple and classy. It embodied every aspect of the little black romper and was an item every woman should have a version of.
The romper I am wearing is lightweight and adorned with little circles around the edges. It is one of my favorite items since it can easily transition from day to night. I paired it with Alex and Ani bracelets and neon studs for a pop of color and glam. I wore a pair of brown sandals to add to the beach vibe.
If you are looking for a more casual take on the classic “little black dress” be sure to try out this outfit.
