I have an immense love for black leather and this season’s Alexandre Vauthier looks spoke to my inner punk assassin. The whole show is full of cute and edgy outfits. One particular look I love features a jumper made out of leather that looked like it had been scrunched up. This piece stood out to be because it was head to toe solid black (much like many of this collections’ other pieces) and I have an intense passion for this pseudo harem styled pant. The cut on both the neckline and on the pants is so sexy and adds to this rocking look.
For my personal style I rarely deviate between two looks. First is the classic and bold. For this I wear an oversized sweater in a deep color like royal blue or blood red, match it with a glittering statement necklace, leggings, loafers and a cute cross-body bag. This is my everyday “uniform”. But somedays I like to whip out my other look…the “punk assassin.”
This style is where I can draw upon the edginess of this Alexandre Vauthier look. I took a pair of leather pants and matched it with a leather jacket, and a cute tank top to make my very own version of Vauthier’s masterpiece. I added on a studded beanie to stay warm and wore my Alex and Ani bracelets that are always on my wrist. To complete the look I took a cue from the model for this look and applied a smokey eye.
