When picking out an outfit, it is always important to keep in mind that the details are the most important aspect. No matter what outfit you have on, the accessories can always drastically change the look. I believe that an outfit should be combinable in every aspect, from head to toe. Even the smallest touches can give any outfit the pop that it needs!
Sometimes it really is shocking to me how much a belt can add to an outfit. I never used to be a huge fan of belts, but recently I have been adding them to as many outfits as I can! In reference to this outfit, I definitely think that the belt adds so much to the look. The silver in the belt pulls in the silver in the watch, while the stripes on the shirt really pull in the fringe on the shoes. All of the pieces in the outfit have different characteristics that really make the outfit pop.
My favorite part of fall is being able to layer clothes. I think that the vest really adds dimension to the outfit. Otherwise, it would just be a regular black shirt and white pants ensemble. Adding layers is a great way to spice up any boring outfit!
It is also fun to add little details to your look by adding a fun lipstick color and throwing on some rings and other jewelry. Since silver was incorporated into the outfit through the belt, it was easy to pick out a silver watch and some different silver rings. Incorporating the red lipstick color to my lips really added a pop of color to this black and white outfit.
There are so many little details and accessories that can be added to a look to really make heads turn. Sometimes it really isn’t about the outfit. Sometimes it is about being able to add your own personal touches to turn it in to a fun, unique outfit! Picking out an outfit can always be fun when you are making it your own. I have learned that if you think that something looks good, then that is all that matters! I used to think that adding too many accessories would make an outfit look overdone. Well, boy was I wrong!
Always remember to have fun when you are putting an outfit together! Be confident in yourself and be confident in your choices. Step out of your comfort zone when it comes to adding details because, in the end, the details are what are going to make your outfit really stand out to others!
