From the Calvin Klein resort 2016 collection, the colors that were present were basic blacks and whites. The basic colors and bagginess of the clothes were my inspiration for my outfit shown above.
Everyone knows the famous picture of Marky Mark in his Calvin Klein boxers. Recently, Justin Bieber and Kendall Jenner recreated the look of that classic picture. Along with the trends from the resort 2016 collection, all of these celebrities have inspired the look of my outfit.
Classic staple pieces always have a way of disappearing and reappearing in the fashion world. The looks my outfit recreates disappeared after the ‘90s and made a comeback in the past couple of years. The baggy look from the Calvin Klein resort 2016 Collection inspired me to get a pair of boyfriend jeans. I stuck to the simple shades of light (black and white) and the indigo of the denim in my outfit. This color trend was shown in the Resort 2016 Collection.
My outfit includes a black crop top from a thrift store. The boyfriend jeans that I am wearing are from Forever 21. They have become a staple piece of mine for the cooler summer nights. Peaking above my jeans are my Calvin Klein underwear. To make this look more feminine, I chose to wear a pair of ankle strap heels.
