The spring semester is in full swing, and with a new year, comes new styles! So to keep it interesting, I wanted to spice up my look a little bit by experimenting with some styles I’ve been loving lately.
So far this year, I’ve been a huge fan of mixing textures and colors together. I love the way that some of my favorite fashion icons Yara Shahidi and Zendaya have been rocking this style lately. Today’s outfit is all about mixing and matching to create a cool, yet chic look inspired my some of my favorite Fashionistas.
While shopping, this pleated woven skirt from Forever 21 really caught my eye. I loved how the bold colors and interesting fabric texture made it such a statement piece. To add to my look, I grabbed a pair of black tights and my go-to black suede wedges. These shoes are so versatile. They’re a wardrobe staple for any budding Fashionista this year.
I’m a fan a huge fan of layering, so for this outfit I choose to wear a cargo denim jacket from Vanity on top. Finally, to give my outfit a final touch, I added some accessories. To keep it simple, I picked out a brown suede floppy hat and a Steve Madden crossbody bag.
Put it all together for a fun look with tons of flair for another day of classes!
