Recently, I have fallen head over heels with over-the-knee boots! BCBGMAXAZRIA’s fall 2015 ready-to-wear line rocked the runway with their boots that made a seamless statement this past season. In my opinion, over-the-knee boots are the perfect pair of shoes for any outfit and are a great staple piece for your closet this season. I love pairing over-the-knee boots with leggings, a knit sweater and a baseball cap for an easy and casual look. If I am doing something special, I’ll throw on a cute dress or skirt and blouse for a classier look.
The outfit I am wearing is a dressier outfit that is perfect to wear on a warmer winter day. Lately, winter in Virginia has me reaching for my thickest coat one day and a light jacket the next day; it is so unpredictable! The jacket I am wearing is one of my favorite staple pieces in my closet. It is great for all seasons and it can be dressed up or down!
I love wearing it with jeans or a black swing dress like shown above. The dress is loose, which is great for all body shapes. It pairs perfectly with the over-the-knee boots I just got and have been obsessed with ever since. I mean, seriously, I have owned these babies for about a week, but, man, have I gotten tons of use out of them already! They are very snug and make me feel so chic, which is nice for winter when all I want to be is bundled up in my thickest parka and bulkiest scarf. The necklace I am wearing makes quite the statement and dresses up even the simplest of outfits- a perfect finishing touch to any outfit! The outfit all together makes for a perfect day or night on the town.
