Lavender lemonade from Ralph’s on the Park would be great right about now. Ralph’s on the Park is one of the best restaurants in New Orleans. As we come to the end of the summer, I am enjoying these last days of wearing pastel colors. But who says we can’t wear spring colors in the fall or winter? Anything goes in fashion.
I am particularly looking forward to wearing this dress with a navy turtleneck and some black ankle boots. I love to buy cute,simple items that can be worn multiple ways. It’s important to have those staple pieces in one’s wardrobe. Having the perfect wardrobe is all about investing in long lasting pieces. I bought this classic wrapped dress from Banana Republic and my shoes are from a site called Shoe Mint; I’ve been wearing these shoes for four years. I know, right, how awesome! I would suggest everyone to shop at Shoe Mint.
When you guys get to know me, you’ll think that it’s crazy that Taylor’s wearing a color other than black; yes, I’m one those people. But, recently I’ve had a change of heart; going to SCAD has really opened my eyes when it comes to establishing my personal style. Sometimes it takes years for a person in their 20s to realize who they are.
I realized that if I want a PR or editor’s job I must dress like one. Fake it till you make it. I really look forward to transitioning my wardrobe and I’m glad you guys are along for the ride.
