When looking at this year’s fall trends, one look that immediately stuck out to me was Mara Hoffman’s fall 2015 ready-to-wear collection. I mean, they were all gorgeous, but the vibrant colors in her collection immediately caught my eye. From the jumpsuits, to the layers and jewelry, everything was pieced together so flawlessly that it made the perfect outfit inspiration for any Fashionista out there!
Inspired by Mara’s collection, I chose to go with one of her simpler looks by wearing all black with a pop of color. To recreate this particular ensemble, instead of going with a bright sweater I chose to accessorize with bright orange earrings. I kept the rest of my look polished, with a black mock turtleneck, another trend in this collection, high-waisted skinny jeans and black booties. To complement my orange earrings, I went with a coral lip and gold accessories.
As far as beauty trends go, the crown braids featured on the models in this collection take the cake. I love the contrast between the braided look, and the usual sleek runway look you see, so of course I had to attempt it (with the help of YouTube) to complete my the outfit.
Albeit, black will always be in style, next time you’re considering wearing all-black everything try adding your favorite, brightest accessory for an effortlessly chic look!
