It’s officially fall and I can’t stop smiling because that means it’s finally boot season! I don’t know if I am the only person with this problem, but I tend to have more boots than any other kind of shoes. Maybe it isn’t as much as a problem but rather a blessing.
This month I wanted to show you guys my personal style and share why I choose what I wear. I love unique pieces of clothing. I love items that make me feel beautiful and that show off my personality. With that being said, I don’t have one kind of style. Really, it’s whatever I am feeling that day or what kind of mood I am in. Ultimately, though, I try and wear something that is unique to me that will make me feel good wearing it throughout the day.
Something I try to do on a daily basis is stay true to who God made me to be. It is really easy to get caught up in new trends or looks that we forget what our personal style even is. It’s really important that we stay true to who we are and don’t conform to what other people are wearing just to fit in. Make sure you are really into a new trend or add your own unique style to it before hopping on the bandwagon.
The outfit featured in this article is a fun trendy look that I love for fall. Over-the-knee boots are really in right now and they make any fall dress look super cute. This is a practical boot for this fall season because it will actually keep your legs warm. The blue paisley dress I am wearing is from Free People, which I found at T.J. Maxx for $20 (happy dance). This dress is simply beautiful and I loved the colors for fall. I paired it with a simple black hat and simple gold accessories. Also, I decided to wear a dark lipstick to finish off the fall look.
