On rainy, gloomy days, staying inside our rooms is always the most appealing option. When it is pouring outside, the walk to class seems like it is so far away. Rainy days have never been my favorite, but choosing the right apparel can help make them better. Your outfit should be cozy, stylish and most importantly, able to keep you dry!
In this look, I wore a light purple sweater, which just happens to match my purple umbrella. Wearing a favorite clothing item can make any day better, and this sweater does just that. It’s one of my favorite pieces because of the combination of the knitting patterns, frayed edges and the high-low side detail. Leggings are a great choice to stay comfortable, and the leather stripe on the side of these leggings adds the perfect stylish detail. The most crucial component of my outfit is my black Hunter Boots. They make rainy days slightly more bearable by not having to dodge the numerous puddles on my walk to class.Â
Unplanned matching coincidences (like when your outfit looks coordinated because your sweater and umbrella match) can brighten up a dreary day! So the next time you are wishing for a rainy day to just go away, make sure that your outfit is suited for the weather: a cute, cozy sweater and leggings, a pair of rain boots to splash in the puddles and an umbrella (bonus if it coordinates with your top). You will look stylish and stay dry, and that walk to class will suddenly not feel as long!
