A dress expresses all of my feelings that I want to say with minimal effort. A dress with print expresses my mood with zero effort. Pair a printed dress with a nice lip and character shoes. Well that is a look made to grace all of social media.
With Inspiration from Giambattista Valli’s fall 2015 ready-to-wear line, I decided that print would be my go to fall/winter go to.  I combined a print with black to make it a fall/winter piece to imitate Alexander McQueen’s fall 2015 ready-to-wear line. By combining these two lines in my head I was able to combine Valli’s chic print with McQueen’s muted edgy colors. While McQueen stuck with the muted black prints and pops of color,Valli’s runway look was my motivation for print.
Printed pieces can get tricky in the fall/winter months if in color. With the black and white print I have more creativity to pick from. I achieved this look  by pairing  an Old Navy patterned shift dress, Old Navy diamond studded gold earrings, LOFT beaded necklace and metallic oxfords.
Each piece I have on can be a staple piece on their own in my opinion. The metallic oxfords are the difference of taking an outfit from preppy to edgy, While my necklace can make an all black outfit POP! To amp up the volume of my outfit a pop of lip color was a must. Heroine and nightmoth lipstick solidify my outfit of printed style. Just remember a print is a statement all on its on. I just chose to pump up the volume.
