We are coming to the end of the semester, so why not go out with a bang? I chose to showcase my own style, a Sakiya original. I have on a blue jean button up, green trench coat, black heal boots topping it off with a black slouch hat.
This year, I decided to take a risk. Lets breakdown my look shall we. Do you notice anything out of the ordinary? My blue jean button up, of course. This button up is actually a men’s shirt that I turned into a dress. Style is all about making things into your own. I dressed up my oversized blue jean shirt with a choker, black heels and a trench coat. No one will ever know where you bought your items. It is all how you put it together; I was nervous to turn a shirt into a dress, but with the right items you can wear anything.
It doesn’t take much to dress your look up or down, and all of these items can be found in everyones price range. You don’t have to spend huge amounts of money to look good. I took the inspiration of my look from a close friend who encouraged me to peak into the men’s section. I haven’t been disappointed since, there is always something new around every corner.
Out of all the pieces I have on, my favorite thing would happen to be my accessories. I was never one to wear chokers until now. Chokers add an edge to your look, which I topped off with my hat. Slouchy hats make an outfit all worthwhile. It is the first item you see and will leave a lasting impression on everyone you come into contact with.
