Rompers are a summertime staple. The versatility of these cute one-piece looks gives you the comfort you are looking for with the ease of only finding one thing to wear and not matching a top and bottom. Dressed up or down, they work perfectly for almost any occasion. They have been featured everywhere this past season showing how much this trend has really taken over the scene and stolen the show from the simple sundress this summer, making it a summer all about rompers.
As seen in the Monique Lhuillier 2015 ready-to-wear fashion show which featured bright colors and neutral rompers, I inspired my look off of the simple bright pastels that can be worn more for day wear. My light purple romper from Forever 21 was my standout piece. It is simple in its style and cut but with the lace detailing at the bottom of the shorts you can see why it steals the show. I paired it with a cream cardigan from American Eagle Outfitters, along with some bangle bracelets and some studded crystal earrings from J.Crew.
The romper along with the simple accessories created a put together day time look perfect for work, lunch or shopping. The great thing about that romper is its so easy to style you could even pair a jean jacket with it, or a statement necklace and heels to dress it up. Rompers can go from causal to more dressed up in a snap, which is what I love about them.
Get My Look: 1. A simple romper with a unique detail. 2. Neutral cardigan. 3. Simple jewelry.
