Floral print! Anytime I see a clothing item that has floral print, I can’t resist it. I own a floral laptop case, planner, makeup bag, and various other items. It is easy to say floral print is my pattern of choice. The great thing about floral patterns is they look good on everyone. One of my favorite things about floral print is that the pattern has been in style for decades and continues to be trendy. Also, floral print can be warn for any season! If you are petite, like myself, smaller floral prints tend to look best. Although it is easy to rock the smaller floral print, sometimes it is fun to be daring and wear a bigger floral pattern.
The dress I’m sporting in this picture is my favorite floral print go-to. The dress has straps similar to overalls and is a velvet material with beautiful flowers all over. It is a perfect dress for the summertime, but easily transitions to the fall or winter with a long sleeve shirt underneath. I paired the dress with some shear black tights and Dr. Martens. This outfit expresses my style by mixing girly with grunge. This is an outfit I could wear to class or a night out with friends. An easy change I make to this look is by ditching the combat boots and tights for some over-the-knee black boots. This little switch makes the look perfect for a night out on the town.
The final important piece of any look is, of course, the accessories. I’m wearing some fun, circle sunglasses. To add another accessory, you could wear a black choker or a beanie to make the look even more grunge. Floral makes this look girly while the boots and accessories make it grunge. Let the flowers give you power, ladies!
