Sheer is making its way into the fashion community and Fashionistas/os are loving it! Valentino’s fall 2015 couture collection embodies everything that sheer was meant to be. His collection mirrored the beauty of Rome, with models dressed in sheer and lace gowns, gladiator sandals and beautiful gold jewelry. Valentino’s collection was more than just effortless beauty, but also a reminder of Rome’s beautiful history.
With a new sheer tunic in hand, I decided to take a little inspiration from Valentino’s collection and give sheer a try. Since the dress was a little shorter than I expected, I paired it with a black bodycon dress. Continuing with the black and gold theme present in Valentino’s collection, I paired my dress with black gladiator sandals. Since I was having a bad hair day (and those are even worse with short hair!) I decided to wrap a brown and gold sheer scarf around my head. I completed my ensemble with large gold hoop earrings, a coral bracelet, a gold hand chain and a black clutch from kate spade. Since my outfit was simple, I decided to put on a pair of my favorite falsies and completed my makeup with the perfect red lip by Kat Von D.
Sheer is a trend that I have been ready to tackle since its inception into the fashion community. There are so many ways to wear sheer gowns and tunics, from colored co-ords to lace bralettes. This style is so cute and adaptable to every Fashionistas/os needs!
