Fall is all about cozy sweaters and adding chic accents to complete a look. I’m always inspired by fall colors, like deep reds, so I thought I would take a simple look and add my favorite accessories. Plain outfits are easy to accessorize and can make a look go from boring to stylish in no time, which is my favorite part about adding details.
My ivory colored sweater from Matilda Muse is by far the softest piece in my closet. It’s lightweight and easy to move in but it keeps me warm with fall’s cool breezes. I paired my loose fit sweater with my Amuse Society tie-up charcoal gray skinnies for color contrast.
I added some detailing to this simple outfit. My maroon hat added some color and it will definitely be my staple piece this fall. Whether I’m having a bad hair day or just want to add some autumn colors, this hat is my go-to. Because my top is pretty plain, I added a silver chunky necklace with a rustic look from Forever 21 to make my outfit more edgy. Finally, I added my Free People black booties with a thick heel to tie my outfit together.
I’m so excited to see what other layers and pieces I can add to my wardrobe this fall. I love experimenting with different styles and creating unique looks that are comfortable and trendy at the same time.
