A long rain coat, black leggings and a large umbrella are all essentials for those humid rainy afternoons. All together they create a look that anyone can customize for themselves. While a rainy day can put a damper on your mood, choosing to wear a bright color and sparkly accessories really help bring back some summer sunshine!
After taking some lovely inspiration from the ADEAM Resort 2016 collection, I was able to capture a classic look that Hanako Maeda portrayed through an infusion of art and wearability. I saw that a trench styled coat could really be worn over any outfit. From the runway, I took a similar beige coat and added some of my own wardrobe favorites to capture a similar look.
I am wearing a white blouse with black jersey leggings under my trench coat. A raincoat can be worn over anything because it provides a look that is simple and classic. My pink scarf adds a pop of color and my fashion statement necklace complements it. I have on my favorite Michael Kors gold watch and black ballet flats. I am also wearing my collection of Alex and Ani bangles.
On a rainy day my beige raincoat keeps me warm and dry in case there are scattered showers. My large umbrella also protects me from the wet weather and also functions as a stylish accessory.To bring the entire outfit together sometimes I like to wear my raincoat with tall rain boots.
