I don’t know about you guys, but warm weather at my school is kind of a blessing in disguise. Upstate New York is basically the equivalent of Antarctica. Okay, so maybe that’s a little melodramatic, but you get the point. Seventy five degrees and sunny in April? I’ll take it. Plus, warm weather only makes dressing fashionable for class that much more fun. Give me any reason to wear a dress or skirt and I will. Skirts are such a fun garment to wear this time of year—not to mention they’re also the biggest excuse in the world not to wear pants! I mean, come on, let’s be real here; who actually finds jeans comfortable?
In this outfit, I paired a pink tie-dye skirt from American Eagle Outfitters with a cropped white tank. A pink skirt is everything I need to show off my girly side and still keep it casual enough for class. Hey, I think I found a new motto: Suns out, skirts out! As for accessories, I chose a gold watch with a brown band, accompanied by a few bracelets from Francesca’s collection to complement the brown tie-dye in my skirt. I kept it simple and didn’t overdo it on the accessories or makeup because, in all honesty, it’s the end of the semester and I’m just getting lazy.
Sadly enough, the end of the year is here which means this is my last article. Writing for CollegeFashionista has been super fun and a great learning experience for me! I highly recommend anyone interested in Fashion to apply for this internship, ASAP! I hope you all soak up some sun in style this summer! Thanks for reading…until next semester!
