Happy December to all! Over the course of the past month, I have been traveling to some awesome European cities. My favorite city I visited so far was Amsterdam! If you have read The Fault in Our Stars by John Green, then you know how magical he describes the city to be. Everything he wrote really describes Amsterdam perfectly. It was beautiful.
The people in the Netherlands are the most friendly and down to earth people you will meet in Europe. They dress really well too! Their look consists of a laid back sporty style. I think that is why I loved Amsterdam so much! When it comes to my style I love to be comfortable, wear performance fabrics, but still look on trend. The city seemed to fit my personal style the best out of all the places I have been. Every city has its own unique fashion styles and trends, and I try to incorporate a little bit of each city into my personal style.
While in Amsterdam, I went to the Anne Frank House, Van Gogh museum and of course, did some shopping. The Puma creepers I am wearing I purchased while in Amsterdam! They were definitely a daring purchase, but the gold surprisingly matches everything. Metallics are a fun way to dress up your neutrals. I am definitely guilty of owning more than one pair of metallic sneakers (see my Style Guru Bio). This outfit really consisted of me trying to stay warm while looking cute. The jeans I am wearing are a cropped pair from MANGO. I love the zipper detail on the bottom! Bomber jackets are still proving to be highly trending. I bought this jacket in a local store in Florence. The print is made of irises, which is actually the official flower of Florence! Layering is so key for spending all day outside in a city, and this outfit allowed me to stay warm while looking put together. I accessorized with a watch from Urban Outfitters, and a bracelet my friend gave me that says “Live in the Moment.” I wear these both everyday. Also in Amsterdam, I stumbled across the cutest boutique called MY-OH-MY. I bought a black bodysuit embroidered with roses that I am in love with.
