Spring has finally arrived! It is that lovely time of year when you start to get sweaty walking to class again. On the bright side, all the pretty prints and colors of spring are coming out. I am constantly inspired to wear bright colors by the beautiful flowers I see around campus. The sun and flowers are back out, and the days are filled with laughter echoing across campus.
On this beautiful, sunny, 70 degree day, I chose to keep it simple as I made my way across campus for class. I decided it was the perfect day to break out my new pink, T-shirt dress. I fell in love with this dress as soon as I saw it in stores. It is simple, but incorporates the lace-up trend. I paired the dress with some tan, chunky, lace-up sandal heels. I decided to go light on the accessories and just carry my favorite J.Crew sunglasses.
Since I kept my outfit simple, I had to step it up with my makeup. I used the Urban Decay Naked3 eyeshadow palette. This palette is perfect for neutral or sparkly looks in the springtime. I used the Catrice liquid eyeliner in the shade Dating Joe Black and some tape to create a small winged look. I used my two holy grail mascaras, L’Oreal Telescopic Mascara and Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara. I love to combine these two for long, luscious lashes.
As the end of the semester approaches, it becomes harder to pay attention in class. I find it much easier to pay attention when I love my outfit. As they say, look good feel good!
