Hello Fashionistas/os! Summer is the perfect time to experiment and create looks and outfits. This week we will explore statement necklaces. The beauty of statement necklaces is that one can wear it to any occasion whether it is going to a party or even running errands. A specific runway show that interested me is the Lela Rose fall 2013 show which created a mystical show of dark colors and embellishments.
Statement necklaces always add a pop of color, and they will always stand out no matter what outfit you are wearing. Nevertheless, the whole look will be very classy and appear effortless as well during any occasion.
I strongly feel that statement necklaces act as a pivotal component to the outfit because this is the opportunity for the Fashionista/o to add pizzazz and a hint of personality in their respective vintage look. Furthermore, these necklaces can be any color, shape or even texture as well. For example, a simple gold chain is perfect for almost everything, and even a bright neon necklace to go with the outfit can work wonders. The summertime is a key season to show off your bling as the statement necklace would be the fabulous choice!
My preference in using statement necklaces can vary; however, my favorite would be wearing it with simple jeans, black jeans and gold rings. I combine the necklace as it will automatically be noticed and just add a touch of creativity within the outfit. This is exactly what the runway show did to create that “glowing” look. In addition, by wearing the necklace, especially in the right way, it simply hints at maturity and classiness.
