Spring is in full swing and with this new season I’ve been seeking some outfit inspiration. What better place to look than the runways themselves? The ace&jig spring 2015 ready-to-wear collection caught my eye right away. It is truly adorable and just what I was looking for to catch some inspiration for spring. From the stripes and pastel colors to the beach styles and crazy patters, this ace&jig collection has something for just about everyone.
I was in such awe of the collection that I had to try out my own interpretation. The colors are probably what stood out to me the most so I tried layering some different colors. Of course I had to get some stripes in there as well. One of my favorite outfits from the collection is a pair of short overalls layered with a colorful top. You will be amazed at all the ways you can layer overalls or even a simple dress. I decided to layer my striped dress, which has an overall feel to it, in order to achieve a look like this. The ace&jig collection is cute yet also very laid back, which I love. It’s not exactly what you would think of when you think runway fashion, which makes it so achievable for any Fashionista.
After being so inspired by this spring collection, I took away the power of layering different colors and patterns. Never fear to mix things up a bit in your outfit.
